Appointments

Consultation only appointments

We offer 45-minute consultations at Refine Me Ltd in which we discuss your full medical history, concerns and treatments options. The consultation fee is £30. This is required at the point of booking your consultation appointment. This can be paid via remote card payment or bank transfer to Refine Me Ltd. If you are unable to pay this at the point of booking, the appointment slot will be held for you for 24 hours, after which time it can be allocated to other patients.

A period of 48 hours’ notice is required should you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment. If the appointment is rearranged or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice the £30 consultation fee will need to be paid in full again in order to rebook a future consultation appointment.

If you wish to book a treatment appointment following your consultation a £100 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking, this amount will be deducted from the treatment total nearer the time of your appointment. The £100 booking fee can be paid via debit or credit card or bank transfer to Refine Me Ltd.

Please be aware that a consultation outcome may be that you are unsuitable for treatment; in the event of this happening consultation fees are not refundable.

*** A consultation only appointment is required prior to having your first botulinum toxin treatment with Refine Me Ltd. Following this consultation, you will then be asked to return at a later date for your treatment once your prescription has been processed and delivered. ***

Treatment appointments for new patients prior to consultation

All treatment appointments require a consultation prior to attending clinic for treatment to determine whether treatment is appropriate. This can be done remotely initially depending on the treatment required. A £30 booking fee is required at the point of booking your remote consultation, please see ‘Consultation only appointments’ section for full details. The consultation fee can be paid via remote card payment or bank transfer to Refine Me Ltd. If you are unable to pay this at the point of booking, the appointment slot will be held for you for 24 hours, after which time it can be allocated to other patients.

Consenting to treatment

You will be asked to read and sign a consent from following your consultation, prior to treatment being undertaken. It is important that during your consultation and during future treatment appointments that all medical history is provided; Refine Me Ltd will not be held liable for any damage caused as a result of withheld information or failure to follow instructions from Refine Me Ltd post consultation / treatments. Consenting to treatment is not just a formality but a record of you deciding to proceed with the stated procedure after considering the potential positive and negative outcomes as well as medical risks both discussed and listed on the form, and the impact they may have on your wellbeing.

Treatment appointments for existing patients

At the time of booking a treatment appointment, a £100 non-refundable booking fee is required which will be deducted from the treatment total nearer the time of your appointment. This can be paid via remote card payment or bank transfer to Refine Me Ltd or alternatively the amount can be deducted from your REFINE ME account if you have one. If you are unable to pay this at the point of booking, the appointment slot will be held for you for 24 hours, after which time it can be allocated to other patients.

If the appointment is rearranged or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice a £30 charge will be incurred. This can be paid via remote card payment or bank transfer to Refine Me Ltd or alternatively the amount can be deducted from your REFINE ME account if you have one.

**Please note that the £100 non-refundable booking fee will be rescheduled with your appointment or will remain credited to your account upon cancellation for the period of time that prescription products remain in date. Should prescription products allocated to you expire before your appointment is rescheduled the £100 non-refundable booking will need to be paid in full again in order to rebook a future treatment appointment.

**Please note that non-refundable booking fees that are allocated to botulinum toxin appointments are not transferable to other treatment appointments.

Direct debit

Our ‘Refine Me account’ is a great way to spread the costs of your treatments and earn loyalty rewards as you go.

The interest free monthly payment amounts are individual to your needs and set up to suit your requirements. The cumulative amounts in your account can be taken off treatment totals or product purchases. If there is an outstanding balance after your Refine Me account has been used, the remaining amount can be paid using another form of payment at the time of treatment. If there is excess in your Refine Me account after your appointment has been paid for, it will remain in your account until needed for future appointments or product purchases.

Punctuality

Please plan your journey in advance to arrive for your appointment on time. Late arrivals will reduce the length of treatment time and may result in your appointment being rescheduled if the reduced appointment time is not practical. No shows and late arrivals that result in rescheduling will incur a £30 charge.

Cancellations

We require 48 hours’ notice for cancelling or rearranging both consultation and treatment appointments. On failing to do this a £30 charge will be incurred.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible to enable us to make best use of our appointment diary.

Please do not attend the clinic if you are unwell; this includes cold sores, common colds, local skin infections or any Covid-19 related symptoms. Please call in advance you are unsure.

Refusal of treatments

Refine Me Ltd reserve the right to refuse treatment where it is deemed inappropriate for any reason.

Unforeseen circumstances

Refine Me Ltd do not offer refunds for unforeseen circumstances that can occur at any time, such as earthquakes, pandemics or other natural disasters. This also includes general weather issues such as floods, ice, snow etc.

Should Refine Me Ltd be required to cancel a clinic due to an unforeseen circumstance, they cannot be held liable for any loss occurred to the patient. Refine Me Ltd will make all reasonable attempts to reschedule a cancelled clinic but this cannot be guaranteed.

Review appointments

Review appointments are offered 2-3 weeks following most treatment appointments. There is no additional charge for a review appointment within the 2-3 week timeframe. Review appointments outside of this timeframe may incur an additional charge.

Children

We do not treat anyone under the age of 18. 
It is politely asked that children do not attend the clinic unless they are old enough to be left unsupervised. If it cannot be avoided, please bring another responsible adult to look after them as they are unable to enter the treatment room. Thank you for your understanding.

Payment

Non-refundable booking fees are required as stated above in the appointments section. This amount is deducted from the treatment total nearer the time of your appointment. If not paid at the point of booking, payment is required at least 7 working days in advance of your appointment; failure to make payment will result in the appointment slot becoming available to other patients.

The full treatment costs will be discussed and agreed during your appointment. Payment is required in full at the time of treatment.

The clinic accepts cash, debit and credit cards, bank transfer or alternatively the amount can be deducted from your REFINE ME account if you have one.

Refunds

All consultation and booking fees are non-refundable.

Treatment charges are non-refundable. The treatment fee charged covers the treatment costs as well as clinicians’ time and service that includes but is not limited to: consultation, treatment information and advice, the treatment costs and time, follow up appointment, aftercare advice and support where required. All treatments are delivered with the intention of providing an outstanding, professional service, gold standard product usage, honest and ethical advice, expert knowledge and safe practice. We are unable to guarantee results therefore cannot offer refunds should the results not meet your expectations.
